The Weymouth Teas are a great way to contribute to a cause, while filling up with delicious goodies! Every Thursday until August, 2-4pm. For a goodwill offering, you get as much as you can eat. Join us at St. Joseph`s Church Hall, Weymouth Falls Rd. See you there!

A busy weekend coming up: start with the Bear River Fire Dept breakfast, then go to the Cornwallis Park-wide sale and garden club sale. On to Weymouth for the Pickerel Fishing and Vintage Farms for another sale. In the evening go to a Glow in the Dark party at Church Point or return to Bear River for a Cèilidh Dance.

The Mothers' Day Plant Sale by the Weymouth Community Garden and Garden Club is on Saturday morning, and the newly refreshed Tourist Information Office will also be opening. There's also a Yard Sale in Havelock, so come out our way on Saturday morning!

e Bear River Village Jumble Sale is this weekend, and Forester's Hall in Clementsvale is having one too. Then there is an auction in Annapolis on Sunday... and its Mother's Day next weekend! Just saying!

This week offers a lively mix of events from talks, workshops, yard sales, and craft markets to live music and a seedy Saturday. Mid‑week brings cooking clubs, button‑making, first aid training, and a special ChatGPT session for seniors, as well as a full day of free Canadian Film Day screenings at King’s Theatre.

Spring’s starting to feel busy, in the best way this week, with plenty of chances to get out and connect, whether you’re in the mood for local art, live music, a community meal, or a fun night out. You’ll also find some practical, helpful events mixed in (from tech help and tax support to job and safety sessions), plus some family-friendly activities to round it all out.

Now that February is nearly behind us, I’ve added the April events to the listing—and things are really starting to pick up. With March Break camps appearing and Canadian Film Day on the April horizon, the calendar is getting packed and full of spring time energy.

African Heritage Month is being celebrated in Weymouth with three events at Sissiboo Landing. And for those not in Weymouth, there are lots of new events below, both this week and in the weeks and month to come.
