WAYNE SIMON

Wayne is a graphic designer with over 25 years experience in the field, who ran his own design firm in Toronto.

He and his partner Eleanor moved to Weymouth in 2015, and soon got involved in the Waterfront Development committee, helping with the highway cleanup, New France cleanup, Cycle rally and the Weymouth July1st village activities within their first year.

Helping to encourage others within the village to participate in and volunteer at the numerous village events has become a great way to get out and meet with locals.

"We have been blown away by the friendliness and enthusiasm of the population around Weymouth. It's a great place to live."

ELEANOR JOHNSON

Originally from South Africa and educated in the UK, Eleanor has experience in both the arts and sciences.

Since moving to Weymouth in 2015, Eleanor has worked as a freelance presentation designer, and recently embraced the chance to build something more local and personal. Revitalizing the Weymouth Bridge newspaper and using it to encourage participation by Weymouth area residents, provides her with a way to get even more involved in the community while utilizing her skills and interests.

"We have been blown away by the friendliness and enthusiasm of the population around Weymouth. It's a great place to live."
