Wed Sep 17 The Glassworker
7pm King’s Theatre, Annapolis Royal, Animation, film, PG. Adult: $11.95 In a town divided by duty and class, Vincent, a glassmaker’s son, and Alliz, a violinist who is the colonel’s daughter, fall in love. As their bond grows, rising tensions between their families threaten to pull them apart. 3 – 4 pm Digby Library. Children aged 7-11 can explore the wonders of science through exciting, themed experiments and activities. Register no later than Tuesday, Sept. 16.
Weymouth Makers Night starts Sept 18th, Thursdays from 6-9pm at the Weymouth Library-Community Room (left side) This is a FREE bring-your-own project gathering for adults. If you need supplies or tools please comment or pm ahead of time and we will try to accommodate your request from our Lending Library. See you soon!!

Sat Sep 20 le Moulin presents Adam Cicchillitti
7:30pm Le Richelieu, Meteghan River. Aults $25. Classical Guitar magazine praised Adam Cicchillitti as “a virtuoso at the top of his game,” while CBC Music named him an “ardent ambassador for classical guitar” and included him in their list of Canada’s Top 30 Musicians Under 30. Sat Sep 20 David James and Big River - Johnny Cash Tribute
7:30 pm King’s Theatre, Annapolis Royal. Adults $40. James and his band look and sound like the legacy of the Man in Black, and when they step on stage, they live it. From the way Cash holds his guitar to the way he talks to his audience, the legendary musician lives again when James steps to the mike and says, “Hello – I’m almost Johnny Cash.”

Tue Sep 23, Conversational French for Beginners and Newcomers
6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Clare Library. Learn French for free and discover local Acadian culture during this series of six workshops geared toward beginners and newcomers. A variety of activities, games, and conversations to help you learn French in a fun way. This program is for adults. Register no later than Tuesday, Sept. 16 by contacting the library.

Thu Sept 25 Benj Rowland – Live Folk Music
7pm Oakdene Centre, Bear River. $15. Don’t miss an evening of beautiful, haunting folk music with Benj Rowland—the gifted instrumentalist and songwriter known for his work with Canadian duo Mayhemingways.
