Fri Oct 3 Michael Kaeshammer
7:30pm King’s Theatre, Annapolis Royal, Music. Adults $35. Across a brilliant, globe-trotting career highlighted by nine tours of China, three appearances at the Olympics, and countless shows opposite international superstars, the German-born, B.C.-based Kaeshammer has electrified audiences with his indelible repertoire and consistently positive outlook on life. “I am a very positive person,” confirms the seven-time JUNO Award nominee and unabashed foodie. “I really love playing shows and being on-stage. Music is my favourite thing to do. And this holiday tour will be the highlight of the year for me.”
Sat Oct 4 Fire Prevention Week Saturday Breakfast and Open House
7am – 10 am Bear River Fire Dept. Come on down for an amazing breakfast, drop off a non perishable food item for our Food Bank collection. Our goal is to fill the back of our Utility 51 to donate to local food banks. And while your here check out the other fire trucks and have a chat about Fire Prevention.

Tue Oct 7 The Halloween Tree
6-7pm Weymouth Library. Help library staff decorate the library Halloween tree. The library will supply all the decorations and ornaments. Enjoy the fun and help make the library lobby look festive for Halloween. This program is for adults, teens and children ages 6 and older.
Tue Oct 7 Paint Night Fundraiser

Thur Oct 9 Mini-pumpkin decorating
2:30 – 4:30pm Digby Library. Celebrate autumn by visiting the library between 2:30 and 4:30 p.m. to decorate a mini-pumpkin. This program is for children. Please register by Thursday, Oct. 2 by contacting the library, but walk-ins will be welcome while supplies last.
