The Weymouth Teas are a great way to contribute to a cause, while filling up with delicious goodies! Every Thursday until August, 2-4pm. For a goodwill offering, you get as much as you can eat. Join us at St. Joseph`s Church Hall, Weymouth Falls Rd. See you there!


Next week the new issue of The Weymouth Bridge will be distributed. It contains a listing of all events from Jun 15 to July 15, and the lists of all the bands at Music on the Sissiboo and at Summer Music at the `O` in Annapolis Royal (also shown below). All posters are on our website and in Photo Albums on our Facebook page.

Weymouth Library Exhibition: Len Dow

Len Dow’s paintings will be on display from May 5 to June 30 during open hours. Dow paints with acrylic on canvas. His love of Nova Scotia and fishing boats is represented in this exhibit. This collection is titled La Baie Saint Marie est mon petit coin du monde

(1755).

Fri Jun 12 More Than a Password

1-3pm Digby Library Using two-factor authentication. Join our Systems Administrator, Ryan, for this program. As online threats increase, relying solely on a password is no longer safe. This one and a half hour session covers the “what, why, and how” of Two-Factor Authentication. A mobile device is not needed to join this information session.

10:30am The Flight of Fancy, Bear River. Paint a rock in honour of Rob and bring it along to be included in a special commemorative display. This will also be an opportunity to share stories, memories and experiences of Rob.


Sat Jun 13 Shadow Painting with Joanna

11:30am-1pm Digby Library. Learn a new technique and make a shadow painting with Joanna Jarvis at the library. This program is for adults. Please register by June 10 by contacting the library.

Sat Jun 13 Next Gen: A Showcase of Youth Theatre & Music

6:30pm King’s Theatre, Annapolis Royal. Live Theatre. FREE. This show will feature both theatre and music. The first half is a selection of seven short plays, performed and produced by the Next Gen Youth. The second half will feature the music of two local youth bands: Proletariat and Parallels.
