Meanwhile there's plenty to do this week. Once you've done your taxes at the Digby library, there are lots of music events, but you can also learn to fish, join in the dancing and get your gold valued.

7pm King’s Theatre, Annapolis Royal. Theatre. Adults $25. In The Skeleton Dance, two young children process the news that their Great Uncle Trout has suddenly passed away. They consider the implications of this in an entertaining, irreverent way, where the audience is privy to their many whimsical theories about death. Emma & Ella believe that everyone has grieved something, be it a loved one, important events, or normalcy. The goal of The Skeleton Dance is to provoke thought about the ways in which we respond to hardship and comfort one another.
Sat May 2 & Sun May 3 Acting in Ensemble Workshop
King’s Theatre, Annapolis Royal. Starting with the ancient dynamics of the player and chorus, theatre has always involved a delicate relationship between the people on stage. How do we support and challenge our fellow actors? When do we step into the spotlight and when do we step back into the shadows? As individuals and as a group, how can we draw the attention of audiences? What does it take for a group to conjure exciting moments of theatre? Using games, exercises and short performance scenarios, we will explore these questions in this two-day workshop. This workshop is FREE, but space is limited and Registration is required.
