The libraries have planned several opportunities for you to learn more about devices and the internet. These are in May, but you will have to register for some before then. They are at both Digby and Weymouth libraries, so be sure to register for the correct one.

Weymouth Library March Art Exhibition – Scenes from the Acadian Shore
This photography exhibit features the beautiful work of Catherine LeBlanc, featuring vistas from the Clare and Weymouth area. The exhibit can be viewed during open hours in March. The photos were taken using an iPhone. LeBlanc loves cloudy skies paired with water views, of which the region has many.

Weymouth Library May Exhibition: The Gifts of Mother Earth
Debbie LeBlanc Kilpatrick is an Acadian artist from Clare. She started painting as a young girl. As she has grown as an artist, she has developed a style which captures the beauty of the land and sea.

Wed May 21 Food Insecurity in Our Communities
6 – 7 pm Digby Library Join Public Health Nutritionists Jane Cunningham and Heather Baillie to learn about the root causes of food insecurity. They will dispel some common myths, help you understand the current situation in Nova Scotia and the Tri Counties, and discuss strategies to improve food security in our community. This is in partnership with Nova Scotia Health.

10 – 11 am Digby Library Would you like health care at the touch of a button? This program will instruct you on using the YourHealthNS app to access multiple healthcare services.
