Sat Dec 06 It’s a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie
10:30am King’s Theatre, Annapolis Royal. Film, Special Event. Join us for our annual FREE HOLIDAY MOVIE FOR KIDS! Santa will be present! After the Muppet Theatre faces closure on account of financial hardships, angel Daniel requests that Boss help its owner, Kermit the Frog and his team of muppets.
Sat Dec 6 Weymouth Santa Claus Parade
5:30pm Vendors inside Sissiboo Place, Christmas music after the parade in the Mercantile with “The Hillbilly Band”, pictures with Santa and Ms. Claus inside the Mercantile after the parade.
Sat Dec 6 Warm up the Soul Connections
6pm Sissiboo Landing, after the Parade. Christian Women’s Group. Free Hot Chocolate, apple cider & cookies. View the Festival of Trees and vote.
Sat Dec 6 Bear River Fire Department Christmas Tree Lighting!
6:30pm Bear River Fire Dept. Kick off the season by sprinkling Santa’s magic dust to light up our Christmas tree, then stick around for cookies, hot chocolate, and holiday fellowship while you meet and greet Santa himself!
Sun Dec 7 Angels About You (Choral concert)

Sun Dec 7 Havelock Wesleyan Christmas Concert
6pm 5507 Highway 340, Hassett. Join us for an incredible night of music and drama celebrating the birth of Jesus. Be sure to bring your family and friends! There will be cake to celebrate!
Tue Dec 9 Cookie Exchange & Game Night
6-7:30pm Weymouth Waterfront Library. Back by popular demand! This is a fun evening of laughter and a taste of cookies. Participants are asked to bring three dozen cookies of the same kind and the recipe. Please register before Saturday, Dec. 6 by contacting the library.

Wed Dec 10 Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere
7pm King’s Theatre, Annapolis Royal. Film, Biopic, PG. Adults $11.95. This film chronicles the making of Bruce Springsteen’s 1982 “Nebraska” album. Recorded on a 4-track recorder in Springsteen’s New Jersey bedroom, the album marked a pivotal time in his life and is considered one of his most enduring works—a raw, haunted acoustic record populated by lost souls searching for a reason to believe.

Thur Dec 11 Baby It’s Cold Outside
7pm King’s Theatre, Annapolis Royal. Adults $20. The Annapolis Basin Community Band invites you to join them for a fun evening of holiday music! The ABCB is a group of community musicians who meet weekly under the direction of Jolene Buchholz. We will be joined for a guest performance by the recently revived Annapolis West Education Centre Concert Band, who will be making their debut performance. This small, yet mighty group of students began learning their instruments in September under the leadership of Jolene Buchholz.
