APRIL

Weymouth Art Exhibition - Needle in Hand, Felt It

Needle felted art by Wendy Mellor! Needle felting is an art form that uses a felting needle to punch wool together to make pictures or objects. Wendy was born and raised in St. Bernard, Nova Scotia. During branch open hours from April 1 to 30, 2026.


Apr 1 to Apr 30 Free Low Income Tax Clinic

12:30-4:30 pm Digby Library. Appointments are available on select Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays in March and April. Get your income tax filed at the library! CRA registered volunteers will file your taxes online. Drop your forms off during library open hours, or book an appointment to file in person.


Thur Apr 02 Tilt

7:30pm King’s Theatre, Annapolis Royal. Comedy, Improv, Theatre. Adults $30. After a 20 minute scripted introduction, an audience-sourced secret is revealed. What follows is a totally improvised continuation of the story, complete with movement sequences, new characters, and fully realized improvised technical design. Whether the result is a hilarious comedy, a touching drama, or something in between, TILT is a wild ride for both the audience and the performers alike!

Sat Apr 04 Luca

10am King’s Theatre, Annapolis Royal. Film, animation, drama. Free. “Luca” is a coming-of-age story about one young boy experiencing an unforgettable summer filled with gelato, pasta and endless scooter rides, but all the fun is threatened by a deeply-held secret: they are sea monsters from another world just below the water’s surface.

Sat Apr 4 Painting with Joanna

Tue Apr 7 Spring has Sprung!

6 – 7:30pm Weymouth Library. School aged children can join library staff for an evening of fun. Create a spring tube flower, do some trivia, or go bowling! Register no later than April 4 by contacting the library.


Wed Apr 8 Seniors’ Day, Coffee and Conversations

1-3pm Bear River & Area Community Health Clinic. Get to know your neighbours over coffee and conversations. The topic is family. Refreshments provided. Free will donations. 902-467-3611
