Tue Dec 30 Dufflebag Theatre’s Cinderella

2pm King’s Theatre, Annapolis Royal. Live theatre. Adults $20. Poor Cinderella. All she wants to do is go to the Royal Ball to meet Prince Charming. But her mean stepmother and stepsisters won’t let her go, so they ruin her dress and leave without her. With the help of her Fairy Godmother, Cinderella gets to go to the castle after all and make the grand entrance she’s always dreamed about. The only catch is that Cinderella must be back by midnight when the spell is broken! The comedic timing is bang on as curfews, lost footwear, and giant pumpkins abound in this fun-filled version of the classic fairy tale from DuffleBag Theatre, especially when members of the audience are invited to star in the show!

As he immerses himself in his clients’ worlds, he begins to form genuine bonds that blur the lines between performance and reality. Confronting the moral complexities of his work, he rediscovers purpose, belonging, and the quiet beauty of human connection.

Next Generation Theatre Workshop Tuesdays 5:30-7:30pm, January 13 to June 2, King’s Theatre, Annapolis Royal. A series of FREE workshops for youth aged 8-17 who are interested in learning all about Theatre — both on stage and backstage. The workshops will take place on the King’s Theatre stage. While participation in ALL workshops is not mandatory, it is highly recommended as they will all be interconnected. Space is limited, so register today.
