Weymouth Art Exhibition - Needle in Hand, Felt It
Needle felted art by Wendy Mellor! Needle felting is an art form that uses a felting needle to punch wool together to make pictures or objects. Wendy was born and raised in St. Bernard, Nova Scotia. During branch open hours from April 1 to 30, 2026.

Community Theatre Adults $22 Dany and Simon are delighted to bring to King’s Theatre stage ‘The Phoenix Showcase’, harnessing the boundless talents and experience of the Cast and Crew of the erstwhile “The Underpants” in an exciting, hilarious, slick and seamless journey in drama, dance and song. The audience will be whisked through a half-dozen short plays, ranging in performance length from 3 to 12 mins, which are carefully intertwined with hilarious Ensemble and Solo songs, deft and dazzling dance routines, and a brief monologue or two.

American composer Gabriela Lena Frank makes her Met debut with her first opera, a magical-realist portrait of Mexico’s painterly power couple Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera, with libretto by Pulitzer Prize–winning playwright Nilo Cruz. Fashioned as a reversal of the Orpheus and Euridice myth, the story depicts Frida, sung by leading mezzo-soprano Isabel Leonard, leaving the underworld on the Day of the Dead and reuniting with Diego, portrayed by baritone Carlos Álvarez.
