The Mothers' Day Plant Sale by the Weymouth Community Garden and Garden Club is on Saturday morning, and the newly refreshed Tourist Information Office will also be opening. There's also a Yard Sale in Havelock, so come out our way on Saturday morning!
The deadline for the May 15 print issue of The Weymouth Bridge is tomorrow, Friday May 8, so if you have any events to add to the listing, or want to advertise your business, get in touch soon. (Adding events to the listing is free. Ad prices are on our website).

May Exhibition at Weymouth Library – Len Dow
Display from May 5 to 30 during open hours. Dow paints with acrylic on canvas. His love of Nova Scotia and fishing boats is represented in this exhibit. This collection is titled La Baie Saint Marie est mon petit coin du monde (1755).
Tue Apr 28 to May 9 Plant Swap
Digby Library during open hours. Stop by the library to donate a plant or adopt a new one! Please bring healthy plants in containers that you no longer need. Make sure it has a clear label that says what type of plant it is. This program will run from April 28 to May 9 during branch open hours.

Thur May 14 Annapolis Basin Protectors
6:30pm King’s Theatre, Annapolis Royal. A Community Information Event hosted by the Annapolis Basin Protectors, a citizen-led advocacy group opposing the proposed expansion of the fish farm in the Port Wade area of the Annapolis Basin, Nova Scotia. They are committed to protecting water quality, marine habitats and our way of life. The event includes speakers, discussion, and a screening of Silver Donald Cameron’s Salmon Wars. Free. Donations welcome.
