Fri May 30 Bon Jovi/Bryan Adams Tribute

7:30pm Kings Theatre Annapolis Royal. Adult: $45. Youth $15. An incredible two-part performance featuring the music of one of Canada’s most legendary artists, Bryan Adams, followed by a heart-pounding tribute to the great Bon Jovi. This is a show not to be missed! This is a highly interactive show where you can sing along to hit after hit of musical anthems that have been the soundtrack for many of our lives.


Sat May 31 to Jun 7 Plant Swap

Open hours Digby Library. Stop in to pick up a plant, share plants of your own, or drop off a plant you no longer want. Bring healthy plants in containers that you do not want back with a clear label of what type of plant it is.

Sat May 31 The Legend of Ochi

3 pm King’s Theatre, Annapolis Royal. Family film. Fantasy, Adventure. $11.95 Adult. $7.95 Youth (under 18). In a remote village on the island of Carpathia, a shy farm girl named Yuri is raised to fear an elusive animal species known as ochi. But when Yuri discovers a wounded baby ochi has been left behind, she escapes on a quest to bring him home.

June Exhibition at Weymouth Library: Welcome Summer

This exhibit features the watercolour paintings of artist Alvina LeBlanc. Alvina LeBlanc is an Acadian from Belliveau’s Cove.

Sun Jun 01 Mozart’s Le Nozze Di Figaro

3 pm King’s Theatre, Annapolis Royal. Met opera Stage to Screen. $15.95 Conductor Joana Mallwitz makes her Met debut leading two extraordinary casts in Mozart’s comic masterpiece. Bass-baritones Michael Sumuel and Luca Pisaroni star as the clever valet Figaro, opposite sopranos Olga Kulchynska and Rosa Feola as his betrothed, the wily maid Susanna. Baritone Joshua Hopkins and bass-baritone Adam Plachetka alternate as the philandering Count, sopranos Federica Lombardi and Jacquelyn Stucker (in her Met debut) trade off as his anguished wife, and mezzo-sopranos Sun-Ly Pierce and Emily D’Angelo share the role of the adolescent page Cherubino.

Thur Jun 5 After The Gold Rush – Neil Young Experience

7:30pm King’s Theatre, Annapolis Royal. Live Music Tribute. Adult: $45. Youth $15. ‘After The Gold Rush’ is fronted by Andrew Sansone performing as “The Loner”. With over 20 years as a professional musician and playing multiple instruments Andrew provides audiences of all ages the dynamic and emotional musical experience that you would expect from Neil Young himself. . In theatre settings, an ‘After The Gold Rush’ show includes awesome 3D visual elements bringing to life the psychedelia of the early 1970’s west coast epoch. A virtual musical walk through of a very important time in popular music.
