Apologies that last weeks post sent you to the front page of the website not to the newsletter. I am thrilled to see that some of you found your way to the newsletter!


This weekend, the last of May, sees a lot of events, and June opens the summer listing.

May Exhibition at Weymouth Library – Len Dow

Only on until May 30 during open hours. Dow paints with acrylic on canvas. His love of Nova Scotia and fishing boats is represented in this exhibit. This collection is titled La Baie Saint Marie est mon petit coin du monde (1755).


Thurs May 28 Digby Cancer Help Fund AGM

7pm Digby Municipality Office. Everyone is invited.


Fri May 29, 30 and 31. Of Black Cats & Oxen (also June 5, 6 & 7)

Wed Jun 3 Waterwalker Film Festival

7-9pm King’s Theatre, Annapolis Royal. Film, Adults $11.95. Films: The Water Still Flows, Streamers, Steamers & Struggles on the Krka, Paddling Tu DesDes, Between the Lines, The Shape of Cedar, Something in the Water, Packraft Paradise, The Smoke that Thunders.
