Weymouth Library May Exhibition: The Gifts of Mother Earth
Debbie LeBlanc Kilpatrick is an Acadian artist from Clare. She started painting as a young girl. As she has grown as an artist, she has developed a style which captures the beauty of the land and sea.
Digby Library May Exhibition: Hika’s Folk Art
This exhibit offers folk art paintings on canvas and wood, featuring a variety of animals by artist Hika Wagner. The artist has been painting since 2001 on driftwood, canvas, rocks, and buoys. She mostly paints animals and her favourite subjects are cats.

Thur May 22 Digital Health Care and You (Weymouth)
1 – 2 pm Weymouth Library. Would you like health care at the touch of a button? This program will instruct you on using the YourHealthNS app to access multiple healthcare services. For those without a family doctor, presenters will discuss the Maple app and tele-health options for doctor’s appointments and prescriptions renewals. Register.

7:30pm King’s Theatre. Indigenous Live Music. Adult: $50. Youth $15. Susan Aglukark is Canada’s first Inuk artist to win a Juno (4), a Governor General’s Performing Arts Award for lifetime artistic achievement, and she is an officer of the Order of Canada. Susan holds several Honourary Doctorate degrees and has held command performances.

Sun May 25 Free Stage Makeup & Wig Workshop
10:30 – 1:30 pm King’s Theatre. Free. Theatre Skills Workshop with Dany Rousseau. In this three-hour session, Dany Rousseau covers basic stage makeup application and wig fastening for all performers. Participants are encouraged to bring their own makeup and/or notebook to take notes. Mirrors will be provided.
