1 – 3 pm Digby Municipal Office, 12548 Hwy 217, Seabrook, Digby. Kick off the new year with good company, warm greetings, and music.
Thur Jan 1 Polar Bear Dip
2pm Annapolis Basin Tidal Beach, 18 Paardeberg St. Cornwallis Park. Gifts and prizes. Free hot chocolate and snacks. Music and beach bonfire.
Sat Jan 3, Sun Jan 4 Wicked: For good.
7pm on Sat. 2pm on Sunday. King’s Theatre, Annapolis Royal. Film, Hollywood, Adventure, Fantasy, Drama. PG. Adults $11.95. Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo), now demonized as The Wicked Witch of the West, lives in exile, hidden within the Ozian forest while continuing her fight for the freedom of Oz’s silenced Animals and desperately trying to expose the truth she knows about The Wizard (Jeff Goldblum). Glinda, meanwhile, has become the glamorous symbol of Goodness for all of Oz, living at the palace in Emerald City and reveling in the perks of fame and popularity.

2 – 3pm Digby Curling Centre, 27 Shreve St. Digby. Learn how to winter sow by starting seeds in winter for early starts into your garden in the spring! Next Generation Theatre Workshop Tuesdays 5:30-7:30pm, January 13 to June 2, King’s Theatre, Annapolis Royal. A series of FREE workshops for youth aged 8-17 who are interested in learning all about Theatre — both on stage and backstage. The workshops will take place on the King’s Theatre stage. While participation in ALL workshops is not mandatory, it is highly recommended as they will all be interconnected. Space is limited, so register today.
