Weymouth Library Art Exhibition: Lake Side Art Group

7pm SMBA Weymouth The Watoto Children’s Choir is Touring Canada once again, and the choir is making a stop in Weymouth, Nova Scotia on Thursday, February 22nd for a concert at the St. Mary's Bay Academy High School from 7:00pm-8:30pm. FREE to attend. All are Welcome.

Wed Mar 6 Acrylic Paint Night with Joanna

6:15 to 7:30 p.m. Digby Library. Join Joanna Jarvis as she leads her popular, relaxed paint night. Participants will create a scene of birds and birch trees. This program is for adults. Register no later than March 1 by contacting the library.


Tues March 12, March Break Bash

2 to 4 p.m. Meteghan Library Children of all ages can join us for a fun-filled afternoon with games, crafts, and gadgets. There will be snacks.


Wed Mar 13 Video Game Night

6 to 8 p.m. Digby Library. Teens can drop in to play Mario Kart, Wii Sports, and other fun video games.


Thur Mar 14 Science Club: Sphero Bolts

3 to 4:30 p.m. Digby Library. Learn about coding by navigating a Sphero Bolt robot through an obstacle course. This program is for children aged 7 to 11. Register no later than March 13 by contacting the library.


Fri Mar 15 Build a Model Cabin

2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Digby Library. Youth aged 12 to 15 years can build a model cabin with the construction kits provided by Skills Canada Nova Scotia. Please register no later than March 8.


Sat Mar 16 St Patrick's Day Party

Tue Mar 19 to Apr 9 (Tuesdays 4-6pm) Youth Improv

Workshop Series Join GEORGE CLAIRMONT — actor, writer, director, and improviser — for a fun series of after school workshops to learn how to improvise and have fun! Workshops on Tuesdays from 4-6pm, March 19-April 9. Show Sunday April 14 at 3pm (Show title: “The Instant Soup Opera”). Participants cost for 4 workshops plus a show: $80+hst. Ages: 10-15

This crazy little Community Cabaret directed by Dany Rousseau and featuring amazing local talent, is taking the words “March Madness” and running with them. Merida (Kelly Macdonald), the impetuous but courageous daughter of Scottish King Fergus (Billy Connolly) and Queen Elinor (Emma Thompson), is a skilled archer who wants to carve out her own path in life. Her defiance of an age-old tradition angers the Highland lords and leads to chaos in the kingdom. Merida seeks help from an eccentric witch (Julie Walters), who grants her an ill-fated wish.
