June - The weekends are getting busier and July 1st is coming fast. Before then we celebrate Fathers’ Day (June 16) weekend with a brunch, ATV appreciation, kite flying and golfing specials. The Riverside Baptist Church is hosting two events in June, and we wind up towards Canada Day with 2 dances in Weymouth - one on the Saturday night and one on Sunday.

July has four festivals! Starting, of course, with Canada Day (Monday July 1st) in Weymouth for which we include a special insert so you can bring it with you to make sure you don’t miss anything. The next weekend (July 5-7) is Lobster Bash in Digby - a three day extravaganza of competitions, music and food. On July 20 Bear River hosts the Cherry Carnival and then at the end of July is the Festival Acadien de Clare. Meanwhile don’t miss the Weymouth community wide yard sale on July 20 as well.
