The weather is warming up, the litter has been picked up, the calendars are filling up, the yard sales are booming. If you can, add your voice to what’s happening in the area - Canada Day Planning meeting (May 17); Barton School Community Center (May 22) and Digby Area Health Coalition (May 26). There’s bluegrass on Saturday and the massed choir at St. Bernard’s on Sunday and the BBQs are firing up - all for a good cause.

The first weekend is already a busy one with the ATV appreciation weekend in Weymouth, the Pickerel Fishing Tournament and a Community wide yard sale in Cornwallis. Later in the month Yarmouth Craft Beer Festival should be a great outing, while at the end of the month Digby Lobster Bash is already posting many events and competitions.
