November - Winter has arrived, and Christmas is not far, so there are lots of craft and bake sales on the calendars (4 in November alone). To keep fit you can join the indoor walking, open gym, public skating or soccer baseball. There are two music events and a movie night to keep the mind active and DARC is providing transport for shopping Halifax (book soon). The Weymouth Festival of Trees is on for the whole of the last week of November, so you can avoid any nasty weather.
December starts off with Santa’s Breakfast, now provided by Electric City/ New France, then there are two concerts and a Christmas play to see some local talent. More music at a kitchen party at the Digby Library, a Christmas Tea, the Walk of Lights and the Parade of Lights have the December calendar filling up nicely.
