10 am – 2 pm, King’s Theatre, Annapolis Royal. Theatre w. orkshop. ages 7-12 with Wendy Goudie. The costumes, the music, the moves… Creating a dance show is powerful! Participants will spend an exciting week pushing their dancing to the limit, to learn and co-create their own original dance show. Friday July 25th performance at 2pm at Kings Theatre, and Saturday, July 26th at the Cherry Carnival in Bear River! Dance styles include bellydance, bhangra, bollywood, flamenco, salsa, hip hop, break dance, jazz, ballet and more. This week is a creativity & confidence booster! Campers will work as a team to create and rehearse a full show in 5 days, manage lighting quick costume changes, and ‘run their own show’ behind the scenes.
